I absolutely adore fantasy stories. They allow you to enter another world in your mind and enjoy a story that is intriguing, and oh so enjoyable. It’s so fun to read about things that wouldn’t necessarily happen in real life but are fun to daydream about.  This story was no different.  It was an absolute incredible escape from reality!

The characters really made this book as enjoyable as it was.  Their relationships with each other, or non-relationships in some cases, really gave me the feels the further I read and kept me interested. They kept me reading late into the night and didn’t allow me to put the book down.

The beasts were incredible creatures. It’s always intriguing to me to see how the author describes the “monsters” in their stories and there was no let down in this story.

My only complaint was this author was a little long winded.  There were parts where the book could have been shortened some without jeopardizing the story any. Those parts kind of led my mind astray but was easily brought back to task.

Overall, I enjoyed the story. Great details and descriptions, incredible characters, and awesome beasts.
